· Establishagreements with suppliers: purchasing contracts, negotiation of prices, blanketorders, and terms of payment and maintain the system updated.

· Analyze productlists provided by suppliers.

· Evaluate on aperiodic basis the quality and service of suppliers.

· Support QualityControl Department with the process of claims with suppliers.

· Attend suppliers’visits and meetings.

· Collect& organize all required information to approve new suppliers.

· Informsuppliers about any nonconformance related with quality, invoicing, shippingdocuments, responsiveness to any inquiry, and/or service to look forimprovement as needed.

· Buildstrong and close business relationship with suppliers to expand businessopportunities.

· Visitsuppliers as needed.

· Supervisepurchasing tasks assigned to Buyers.

· Maintaincontrol of all issues related with suppliers in charge.

· Maintaininventory of parts.

· Analyze needs andpurchase orders accordingly.

· Keep track ofpurchase order confirmations.

· Coordinate withBuyers to update delivery dates in the system upon receiving confirmation fromsuppliers.

· Liaise withLogistics Department to find the best way to ship the products.

· Keep track ofshipping documents on purchase orders.

· Supplyinformation regarding deadlines and payment terms to Accounting Department.

Preferably experience with Heavy Equipments Parts-Caterpillar and Komatsu (Sale or purchase) .

Desirable knowledge in undercarriage and ground engaging tools (GET) parts.

Desirable graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
