Warranty Manager

The warranty manager leads a department responsible for the processing of all claims regarding quality,
transportation, part returns, etc They are responsible for capturing relevant complaint data, evaluating warranty
data, and creating an action plan to eliminate the causes of failure in collaboration with the appropriate departments

  • Duties &
    ResponsibilitiesOversee all areas of the reclamation process for complaints and warranty issues, and assure proper and timely
    execution.

    Lead a department responsible for the processing of all claims regarding quality, transportation, part returns, etc..

    Create reports on customer interactions, warranty claims, and related statistics.

    Analyze root causes of warranty claims and identify methods to reduce claims

    Develop new guidelines and strategies for customer service reps to improve the quality of service and support to
    customers.

    Ensure proper processing of complaints, credits, and other warranty issues.

    Participate in supplier/purchasing meetings to negotiate proper terms for claims.

    Provide oversight to claim coordinators and the processing of warranty claims.
    •The position requires that the candidate has the ability to react productively to changes and handle other tasks as
    assigned.

Requirements
•Mechanical aptitude with a minimum 5 years of technical experience regarding heavy equipment, with thorough
knowledge of diesel Internal combustion engines and diagnostics

Strong customer service background (minimum 3 years)
•3- 4 years experience in a supervisory/management role
•Strong numerical analysis
•Strong reasoning ability
•Solid interpersonal verbal and written communication skills required (English Spanish)
•Microsoft office
