Job Summary
IT Support Associate provides technical support and assistance to employees and businesses with technical, hardware, and software system problems. Most common technical support includes connection problems, inabilities to access data, slow performance, and inefficient programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up, install and configure hardware, software, and connect workstations and peripherals.
- Maintain internal website Database updated.
- Troubleshoots hardware, software, network issues and peripherals to local users.
- Identify, and solve technical and software-related problems. Install upgrades and new releases.
- Provide orientation to new users of existing technology.
- Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources.
- Notify the compliance of Company policies, procedures and standards.
- Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate.
- Evaluate and optimize the functionality of systems, networks.
- Maintain the Company’s telecommunication systems running with minimal downtime.
- Preventive Maintenance Administrator and Operator.
- ISO Forms Operator
- IT receiving and inventory control.
- Low voltage and Network cabling installer.
- Help Desk Associate.
Knowledge and Skills
- High School Diploma with at least indicated experience performing the functions of the job.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Able to satisfactorily perform all the responsibilities of the job and work effectively under pressure
- Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills
- Must have familiarity with PC hardware, software and peripherals in a Windows. Mac OS knowledge is a plus.
Physical Requirements
This position may require, walking (60%), sitting (40%), talking, and using his/her hands, eyes, and/or ears. May require lifting up to 50lbs.
