Junior Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement efficient processes and systems for industrial production.
• Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement.
• Design and optimize manufacturing layouts to maximize productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Evaluate and select appropriate industrial equipment and tools.
• Create and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Study operations sequence, material flow, and determine worker functions and responsibilities.
• Formulate sampling procedures, designs and develop forms, instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
• Create cost analysis for all the processes.
• Coordinate activities with other departments to expedite orders and distribution of products and customer’s special requests.
• Analyze inventory levels and finished products.
• Design and provide training to the personnel.
• Must be able to react to changes productively and handle miscellaneous tasks and assigned them, being flexible in the event that management requires you to assume other functions.
• Develop and implement an effective manufacturing operation that minimizes cost and ensures paperwork is processed accurately and promptly.
• Ensure that all employees are following Security Norms when using any equipment such as, forklifts, hand jacks, pallet jacks, tow trucks, etc., as well as, any other equipment which is in the warehouse.

Qualifications:

– Fully Bilingual – English & Spanish – Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or related field
– Knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
– Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
– Effective communication and collaboration skills
