Maintenance Associate

We are looking for a Maintenance Person to join our team and help keep our facilities in top condition. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair work on the premises, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical work, and more. The maintenance associate ensures all equipment are well-maintained, safe, and reliable; this includes completing scheduled preventative maintenance and work assignments and providing detailed documentation to support repair results. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Duties & Responsibilities
Performs unassisted preventative maintenance routines and minor repairs on the facility’s various electrical
and mechanical equipment.
Maintains all equipment in the facility.
Maintains assigned tools and supports the accurate inventory of all company-supplied tools.
Maintains high-quality appearance of the equipment, building, and grounds.
Installs electrical circuitry and conducts control components.
Perform minor welding tasks with electrical welding equipment on mild steel and know all safety practices
relating to welding processes.
Ensures that policy guidelines and OSHA regulations are followed.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications
Minimum of one year experience where the primary assignment was as a multi-craft maintenance
mechanic.
Experience repairing and maintaining basic mechanical devices required.
Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.
Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions.
Able to answer the phone and greet the public in a friendly and courteous manner.
Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
Able to effectively use appropriate material handling equipment.
Able to execute oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
Able to provide courteous, timely service when addressing customer questions and concerns.
