From turbo inlet hoses to aftercooler hoses, not all hoses are made the same. The operating condition determines the type of rubber material that is used to manufacture a specific hose. CTP carries a full line of specialty engine hoses.

1 EPDM (Ethylene Propylene) -50 to 150C Used with fireproof hydraulic fluids, hot and cold water and alkalis. Unsatisfactory with oils gasoline halogenated solvents and acids.
2 Blue Silicone -54 to 177 C Heavy duty pressure connections in hostile engine environments. Resists hardening, cracking, cold leaks, steam and many chemicals
3 Red Silicone -54 to 260 C Typically used between the turbocharger and the engine.
