Fuel Injectors New & Remanufactured

CTP Remanufactured Fuel Injectors are rebuilt to precise manufacturer’s specifications; we ensure this by replacing all necessary components and seals with new high-quality components. In addition, each injector is laboratory bench tested to ensure a correct spray pattern and precise fuel delivery volume. This repeatable process is followed on every injector we remanufacture to secure its quality.

nozzle injectorNozzle Injector - PLM (Pump Line Nozzle) Injector

In a pump-line-nozzle diesel fuel injection systems, the pump pressurizes the fuel and is connected to the injection nozzle through a high-pressure fuel line/tube. The PLN system can utilize; in-line, distributor, rotary, and unit injection pumps. In the original design, the system is controlled mechanically through the governor. In newer versions some systems are controlled electronically.

MUI InjectorMUI (Mechanical Unit Injector)

These systems are driven from the engine camshaft. The camshaft pushes the rocker arm to depress the injector, this forces the integral plunger to create high fuel pressure inside the injector. The fuel is released by a high-pressure poppet valve that opens at a preset pressure. Fuel delivery volume is controlled by the fuel rack metering system on the injector.

MEUI InjectorMEUI (Mechanical Electronic Unit Injector) - Remanufactured

These systems [similar to the MUI Injector] are also driven from the engine camshaft. The camshaft pushes the rocker arm to depress the injector, this forces the integral plunger to create high fuel pressure inside the injector. The difference is that the fuel is released by a built-in solenoid that’s controlled by the ECM (Engine Control Module). This electronic system has higher control over injection timing and fuel volume delivery, some systems allow for multiple injections during the injection cycle.

HEUI InjectorHEUI (Hydraulic Electronic Unit Injector) - Remanufactured

The HEUI system is driven by hydraulic pressure from a high-pressure pump. The high-pressure oil is pumped on top of the intensifier piston inside the unit, this forces the plunger down, which in turn forces the nozzle needle to lift, pressurizing the fuel in the plunger cavity, an electronic solenoid triggers the opening of the nozzle, sending fuel into the combustion chamber. This hydraulic electronic system has superb control over the injection timing and fuel volume delivery for maximum efficiency.
