Valve Guides
CTP offers Valve Guides that are readily available for many heavy equipment engine applications. Our high-quality valve guides are designed to allow for less wear, greater heat dissipation, heat resistance, and enhanced lubrication for the next generation of high-performance diesel engines.
Consequential engine damage can often be caused by old and worn valve guides. Valve damage and sealing problems are signs of worn valve guides, these are:
- Burnt valves
- Damaged valve keeper/lock grooves
- Excessive wear of the valve stem
- Worn rocker arms on one side (improper geometry)
- Increased oil consumption
- Burnt valve seat inserts
